Private Event Space

Our beautiful lakeside Inn is the perfect place for your special event space. Our main dining and living room (the Maine room) is spacious and provides luxurious comfort along with fantastic views for your family reunion, company party or business. Our spacious lakeside lawn, pine grove and perennial gardens provide the perfect backdrop for having a family reunion, lobster and clam bake. Our intimate sun porch is a cozy and comfy place for gathering for laughs and fun with your group. And our new Eagle’s Nest Cabin provides the ultimate in private, small team meeting event space.

  • For larger event space, our Maine dining room seats 30 in its standard configuration combination of dining tables, couches, and chairs. With rental tables and chairs and moving existing furniture elsewhere, 60-80 can be comfortably seated.
  • For smaller groups of eight to ten people, our Sunporch provides a cozy setting with the feeling of being right on top of the lake. In the early spring and late fall each year, you will find our “Spinners” out there – a group of Fibrists who bring their wool and spinning wheels and spin wool into yarn all weekend long.
  • For private, small team (up to ten people) business meetings, our newly built (available beginning spring of 2016) Eagle’s Nest Cabin provides everything to make your business retreat a success.

Business Event Space

For businesses event space we are just the place for your team to get away from it all and work on the tough business issues in comfort and privacy. With the new addition of our Eagle’s Nest Cabin (ready in Spring of 2016), we have the ideal facility for your small team retreats. Built with business retreats in mind, the cabin’s living room can comfortably seat up to ten around a conference table. Whether you need to do executive strategic planning, management team building, develop a product roadmap or embark upon an improvement initiative, we have the room and space for your team to work. And when you’ve been working hard and need a timeout, there is no better way to take the pressure off than to lazily wander among the gardens, pine groves or just gaze at the lake and loons from the patio of our scenic event space on Tripp Lake.

As an added bonus for businesses, with your event space manager Roy’s high tech executive management background he can be there to help facilitate your sessions if required. Having run successful Program Management Offices for several high tech companies Roy has extensive experience in leading and facilitating a variety of critical business tasks including team building, strategy planning, problem solving and goal setting. Having delivered many dozens of technology products to market, many “first of a kind”, Roy knows his way around most facets of a business including Research and Development, Product Management, Marketing, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality and Business Operations.
