The Bigelows range forms the northern ridge of the Carrabassett Valley. As you ski or hike down Sugarloaf Mountain, can you see an image of Chief Bigelow gently relaxing in the outline of the Bigelow Range? Updated in 2016 with new furnishings, you will sleep on a comfy queen bed in this good size room. We must be honest - this room doesn't have great views unless you like views of roofs, roads and lawns. However, this room offers great value for your stay at the Wolf Cove Inn.

Rangeley Lake is located in the Western Mountains of Maine and is a mecca for snowmobiling in the winter and lazy summer days on the water in the summer. The décor of our Rangeley Lake room captures the crisp cool blues of Rangeley Lake and whites of the snow in the background mountains. The room has views of the herb and perennial gardens and expansive lawns, and sports a comfy queen bed.

As you ski or hike down the Camden Snow Bowl you are treated to magnificent views of the waters, islands and peninsulas of beautiful Penobscot Bay. In this corner room with windows on two sides, transport yourself to relaxation in an easy chair and submerge yourself in the views of the towering pine grove and the glistening blues of Tripp Lake. Sporting a queen bed, Penobscot Bay has a private, detached bathroom about ten feet down the hall from the bedroom.

Casco Bay, anchored by Cape Elizabeth to the southwest and Bald Head Cove to the northeast, is home to many Maine working ports as well as scenic lighthouses, islands and peninsulas. When you enter your room you’ll feel yourself walking onto a sandy ocean beach with a morning fog hanging over the water. This room sports a southern lake exposure where the antique chairs invite you to relax and read that long-anticipated novel.

Sebago Lake is one of the largest lakes in Maine and is the southern anchor to the Lakes Region of Maine. The room décor evokes images of your feet dangling in the lake from a quiet sandy beach chair. This corner room with windows on two sides overlooks the herb/perennial gardens, expansive lawn and has spectacular views of Tripp Lake, especially during sunrise and sunset. A queen bed will offer a place on which to rest your head for a good nights sleep.

Flanked by Mt Katahdin to the northeast, Moosehead Lake is one the northern lakes in the Maine Lakes Region. The room décor evokes the feeling of a cool deep lake with a touch of morning fog. This spacious corner room overlooks Tripp Lake, the pine grove and the gardens from windows on two sides. The two twin beds can be made up to a king bed with advance notice. And Rover is welcome in this dog friendly room.

Mount Katahdin, in Baxter State Park, towers majestically as the highest peak in Maine. Romance is in the air in Mount Katahdin, an elegantly intimate getaway. Rediscover the love of your life as you tantalize your senses with aromatherapy oils in the whirlpool for two. The bathroom also has a shower. Snuggle up in the king bed or get cozy wearing the luxurious house robes as you curl up next to the gas fireplace gazing upon the pine grove and Tripp Lake beyond.

Drive to the top prior to sunrise and you can experience the first rays of sunshine that hit the United States each day (depending on time of year). Let the quiet surround you in Cadillac Mountain with its spectacular view of Tripp Lake. Tantalize your senses as you unwind in the whirlpool bath with aromatherapy oils. Let the world pass you by as you relax in front of the fire in your sitting area or in your king bed.

Acadia National Park, on Mount Desert Island, is the only National park in New England and is breathtaking in its beauty. The colors in the room remind one of sunrise and the surrounding ocean and bay. This corner grand suite has both a bedroom and a living room and enjoys picturesque views of Tripp Lake and the herb/perennial gardens from windows on two sides. Cuddle in front of the fireplace in the large sitting area, or unwind in a spacious luxury bath with spa. You'll never want to leave your room, except perhaps for our wonderful breakfast.

Winter Harbor is a working lobstermen/fishermen port on the north side of Frenchman's Bay and encompasses the Schoodic Point portion of Acadia National Park. This room is a two room suite with a living room, bedroom and a private bathroom that includes an extra large shower, spa tub and double vanity. Enjoy panoramic views of Tripp Lake from both the bedroom and the living room. This room offers some of the best views at the Inn from three set of windows on two sides. Two children can be accommodated on the sleeper sofa. This suite’s modern bathroom has ADA features such as a wide door, grab bars, a roll-under vanity sink and an ADA accessible tub/spa.

Brand new for the spring of 2016 this luxury cabin with open concept floor plan is nestled quietly in our pine grove. The living room and bedroom both have great lake and pine grove views. The bathroom features a large walk-in/roll-in shower with rain and handheld shower heads. You will relax with your own private porch featuring panoramic views of Tripp Lake. Enjoy the living room fireplace with floor to ceiling stonework. The cabin is furnished with custom, handmade furniture from local Maine artisans. Handicap accessible and ADA compliant. Dog friendly.
