Dinner Experiences at Wolf Cove Inn

Seasonal lakeside dining inspired by Maine's farms, waters, and changing seasons.

Dinner at Wolf Cove Inn is designed to be savored. Each evening, overnight guests are invited to enjoy a relaxed yet refined lakeside dining experience rooted in seasonality, thoughtful preparation, and local sourcing whenever possible. Our offerings range from a more casual, ever-changing chalkboard menu to elevated, bespoke multi-course dinners enjoyed privately in our Boathouse or Sunporch. Menus evolve constantly, reflecting what’s freshest and most inspiring from Maine’s farms and purveyors alongside carefully selected ingredients beyond the region — creating evenings that feel both comforting and memorable.

Lakeside Evening Dinner

Available nightly from 5:00–8:00 PM (final seating at 7:45 PM), our Lakeside Evening Dinner is a relaxed and delicious dining experience offered exclusively to overnight guests.

Chefs Kevin Peters and Lucas Hanson curate a rotating chalkboard menu inspired by what’s fresh and in season, highlighting the best of Maine’s farms and purveyors. Expect comforting and creative dishes such as Spicy Cucumber Salad, Pan-Seared Cod with shiitake mushroom relish, and our ever-popular Tripp Lake Pizza for Two with seasonal salads. Vegetarian options and seasonal entrées are always available, and the menu changes frequently to keep things exciting.

Seasonal Specialties & Local Flavors

Chef Kevin Peters crafts rotating seasonal menus that reflect the best of Maine’s local bounty — think fresh garden herbs, regional cheeses, and produce from our favorite nearby farms.

Dishes like our Short Rib and Bone Marrow Ragu over fresh pasta or a Free-Form Vegetable Lasagna with roasted squash, seasonal greens, and creamy béchamel are just a sampling of what might be on offer. Menus change regularly based on what’s fresh, local, and inspiring that week.

Dinner at Wolf Cove Inn is a relaxed yet refined experience, distinct from our private Romance Dinners and special-event Lobster Bakes.
