Serving Fresh Delicious Meals Everyday. Locally Sourced Whenever Possible.
We want everyone to feel comfortable and well cared for at breakfast. Each morning, we serve a traditional, sit-down farm-to-table breakfast for our overnight guests in a warm and welcoming dining setting.
Our breakfast is served tableside with a variety of seating options to suit different preferences and group sizes. Guests may enjoy intimate two-top and four-top tables, gather at our farmhouse table for larger groups, relax in the sun-filled porch, or dine outdoors on our lakeside deck and in the Boathouse during the warmer months. Whether you’re seeking a quiet, private morning or a more social atmosphere, our dining spaces allow you to start the day exactly as you wish.
Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 9:30 AM, with self-serve organic coffee and a variety of teas available starting at 7:00 AM for early risers.
Our food philosophy is simple: thoughtful cooking using 95% organic ingredients, local sourcing whenever possible, and a deep appreciation for the Maine farmers and producers who nourish our community. We're continuously expanding our network of growers and artisans to bring you the very best of the region.

Homemade Breakfast Menu
Each morning, we craft a thoughtful, locally inspired breakfast featuring both sweet and savory offerings-rotating daily to highlight the season and our chef's creativity. Recent guest favorites include:
- Sweet:
Berry Toast with Whipped Ricotta, Cottage Cheese Pancakes with Roasted Strawberries (GF), and Vanilla Brown Butter Oatmeal. - Savory:
Crispy Cheesy Egg over Spinach and Pan-Fried Cheddar, Veggie Cheddar Quiche, Build-Your-Own Omelet, and Eggs Over Easy on Shakshouka.
You'll also enjoy daily choices like our Chef’s Morning Creation (a seasonally inspired entrée paired with a protein and occasionally a starch or fresh local salad), eggs to order, and rotating fresh-baked goods made by our in-house kitchen team.
We proudly source our proteins from Maine farms-offering bacon, maple breakfast sausage, and Canadian bacon-and serve our sides with local potatoes or fresh greens.

Meet Breakfast Chef Janek Luksza
Janek joined Wolf Cove Inn in 2023, originally as part of our housekeeping and service team. With a natural talent and growing passion for the culinary arts, he quickly found his stride in the kitchen—rising through the ranks to become our Head Breakfast Chef. A born-and-raised Mainer and recent graduate of the University of Southern Maine, Janek brings heart, hustle, and a calming presence to every morning service.
His culinary journey began at Seeds of Peace summer camp, where he worked his way up from dishwasher to sous chef—discovering the unique peace that comes from working in the rhythm of a bustling kitchen. When he's not crafting guest favorites like whipped ricotta French toast and signature Maple Sugar Cookies, you’ll find him outside or watching sports.
