Are you looking for the best Maine winter wedding or elopement location? Perhaps you’d love the perfectly designed package to take care of everything for you? Well, the Wolf Cove Inn might just fit the bill.
Winter Elopements At The Wolf Cove Inn
Set right on the shore of Tripp Lake in Maine, the Wolf Cove Inn, a bed and breakfast in Maine, specializes in elopements and intimate weddings. And come December through April, mother nature transforms the beautiful lakeside location into a winter wonderland. We offer all of our New England elopement packages during the winter and spring, with some non-peak season special rates available.
During winter, things are a bit different around here. Generally, Tripp Lake is frozen and there is plenty of snow on the ground. This all makes for an opportunity to have a truly unique, hassle-free marriage ceremony. The Inn has five terrific locations from which to choose for your wintertime nuptials. Let me tell you about your options.
1 – Winter Elopement At The Lakeside Wedding Arbor
Our handmade wedding arbor at our custom elopement pavilion offers amazing views of Tripp Lake and sunset at a backdrop for you Maine elopement.
2 – New England Elopement By The Firepit
Pull on your LL Bean boots and head lakeside to our fire pit. Imagine getting married outside in the snow with a roaring fire beside you and stunning frozen Tripp Lake in the background. We’ll even have gourmet style s’mores made by Portland, Oregon based company “1927 S’mores” available for you to toast afterwards! Now how many people can say they did s’mores after their “I do’s?”
3 – New England Wedding By The Handmade Birch Arbor On The Sun Porch
The cozy sun porch at the Wolf Cove Inn offers an intimate location with panoramic views of frozen Tripp Lake. Our hand crafted birch arbor frames the beautiful lake in the background. You and your partner for life will be picture postcard perfect while taking your vows.
4 – Maine Winter Wedding Right Out On Frozen Tripp Lake
Grab those LL Bean boots again and head onto Tripp Lake. Yes, you can walk on water with your betrothed! And it’s perfectly safe. The ice gets as thick as three feet. It’s safe for snowmobiles, ice fisherman and two people in love!
5 – In Front Of The Fireplace In The Living Room
The cozy living room with its stone fireplace and Tripp Lake in the background offers a warm and cheery place to say “I do” in front of your small group of family and friends.
6 – In Front Of The Fireplace In Your Eagle’s Nest Cabin
Your Eagle’s Nest Cabin offers privacy, intimacy and warmth in front of the floor to ceiling stone hearth. You’ll feel cozy, romantic and tingly all at once as you express your vows to one another.
